In The Spotlight

St. Humain – “How To Lie”

Born in Singapore and based in Australia, this indie-pop artist grew up as an active child, either running around, playing sport, drawing comics or learning to play the guitar. After that he also learned singing, songwriting and producing. Having created an one-of-a-kind blend of pop, electronic and R&B and inspired by Dua Lipa, Post Malone and Charlie Puth, he debuted with “Make A Move” in 2017.

With lyrics touching on mental health and how we rather say that we’re fine, instead of telling the truth about our feelings, his new single mixes his vulnerable words with sonic energy. Taken from the deluxe version of his EP “METADRAMATIC”, the song starts with guitar plucks, before being joined by sizzling synths and bouncy beats. And with his falsetto vocals, this is a catchy indie-pop jam.
