Tori Cross – “Too Many”

Hailing from Birmingham, this British singer/songwriter was born with creativity etched in her DNA with artists in her family. She started writing her own songs at 16 and moved to Liverpool to study music at university. Since then she’s lent her voice to house artists like LUCA and Rory Hoy. Inspired by Amy Winehouse, Lianne La Havas and Corinne Bailey Rae , she debuted with “Looking Up” in 2018.

Taking the listener along on her rediscovering her true self after an impacting breakup, her new single is genuine and personal. Accompanying her emotional lyrics is an ear-stroking R&B melody constructed from a laid-back acoustic guitar and mellow percussion. Joined by celestial backing harmonies, she tells her tale with her enchanting vocals and gives this intimate smooth jam pure elegance.

Ben Kessler – “Do It Again”

Born in Philadelphia, this versatile singer, songwriter and producer was already dabbling with acoustic music projects in high school, but decided to study English at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Since graduating he’s been on tour with Lizzy McAlpine and amassed over 100 million streams. Inspired by Simon & Garfunkel, Bon Iver and John Mayer, he debuted with “Good Enough” in 2019.

With lyrics steeped in melancholy, singing about a lost relationship with a person that hurt you, but that you’re not ready to let go of, his new single feels relatable. Driven by a rolling rhythm and a refreshing guitar, he’s created a dreamy soundscape to get lost in. And with cleverly layered harmonies and his silky-smooth vocals fluently merging with the tune, this song sounds heavenly.
