Born in Blacksburg, Virginia as Jack Tatum, this singer and songwriter grew up in a musical family. Enamored by his dad’s guitar, he started learning to play himself. Dabbling in bands during his college years, he decided to continue solo. With a sound influenced by 80s music and inspired by artists such as Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel and Roxy Music, he released his debut single “Summer Holiday” in 2009.
Showing true vulnerability in the lyrics by admitting to a time where he wasn’t the best husband, his new single follows his journey back to his best self. Taken from his upcoming album “Hold”, expected on October 27th, it’s the multi-layered 80s dream-pop feel from the punchy beat, retro synths and surprisingly rocky chorus, as well as his soothing vocals, that makes this a stunning track.

Based in Calgary, this award-winning Canadian singer and songwriter has been offering a modern take on the retro-touched genre yacht pop. Since bursting onto the scene, she’s been commissioned to write a song for the 2019 Canada Winter Games and won the Red Deer Emerging Artist award in 2021. Inspired by The Doobie Brothers, Toto and Steely Dan, she debuted with “One More Dose” in 2017.
Singing about the rush of emotions that flood your senses when someone you’re into comes close, her new single is brimming with feel-good retro vibes. Taken from her upcoming debut EP “Retrodelia”, she pays a sonic tribute to the glittery 70s. With a funky bass and blazing brass, she blends funk, soul and pop into a delectable gem. And with her rich, vibrant vocals, this is an infectious groove.
