Malan – “We’ll Be Alright”

Born as Malan Jones, this Welsh singer and songwriter was ready to introduce herself to the music scene, when the pandemic hit and the first lockdown put a stop to those plans. Instead she used the extra time to get a music degree at Bangor University and further develop her jazz, R&B and soul sound. Inspired by Cleo Sol, Olivia Dean and Faye Webster, she released her debut “Busy Bee” in 2020.

Instantly enchanting with a soul-infused rhythm, her new single exudes positivity. Taken from her EP “Bloom”, the delightful track gently bobs on warm, comforting sonic waves. With some R&B influences and a jazzy vibe, the chorus spices the tune up with upbeat cheer and smooth harmonies.
