Tilly Valentine – “Yours Is Mine”

Born in Oxford, this British singer and songwriter moved to London aged 16 to attend the renowned BRIT school. Since then she’s sung backing vocals for the likes of Rod Stewart and Sam Smith at Wembley Arena and performed at Oxford’s O2 Academy and London’s Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. Inspired by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Lianne La Havas and Tom Misch, she debuted with “Coins” in 2018.

Singing about the aftermath of an intense breakup, her latest single combines lyrical heartbreak with musical warmth. Blending pop and R&B with a touch of jazz, the ear-stroking melody sounds like a soothing embrace. With the playful pluck of a jazzy guitar, the cheerful bounce of the drums and gracious harmonies, it’s her alluring vocals that unite all elements into a lavish gem.
