Imogen Clark – “If I Want In”

Hailing from Western Sydney, this Australian singer and songwriter has always been immersed in music. Trained as an opera singer from the age of 8, she moved on to piano, guitar and songwriting aged 12. Since then she’s recorded in iconic studio’s in Nashville, London and Los Angeles. Inspired by Bruce Springsteen, HAIM and Taylor Swift, she released her debut “Take Me For A Ride” in 2016.

Telling her own story that she needed to leave her home town in order to grow into the person she wanted to be, her new single pays homage to both her roots and her journey. Lighting her lyrics with bright neon, it’s the crisp synths, bombastic drums and raw electric guitars that forge a high-energy 80s pop-rock jam. And with her im-passioned vocals, this slick retro groove is pure sonic gold.
