Honey Mooncie – “Love Me Tonight”

Hailing from Brighton, this British singer and songwriter grew up surrounded by music and her and her sisters were actively encouraged to learning new musical skills, including weekly singing lessons. She attended drama school on the weekends and slowly shaped a fresh jazz-pop sound of her own. Inspired by Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse, she debuted with “Should’ve Been You” in 2019.

Telling an amorous tale filled with hope and anticipation for a possible romance, her new single blends her poetic lyrics with an infectious melody. Guided by a driving beat and a funky bass, you’re led to a bustling chorus of bright strings and peppy horns. And with her soulful, emotion-laden vocals enchanting your ears, this delectable alluring groove combines charm with dancefloor-ready pizzazz.

Augustine – “Teach Me”

Growing up just outside Gothenburg, this Swedish singer and songwriter was raised in a musical family. He started writing lyrics aged 9 and his brothers taught him to play drums and guitar. After finishing high school he moved to Stockholm and saw his debut album receive two Swedish Grammy nominations. Inspired by Bob Dylan, The National and The XX, he released his debut single “Luzon” in 2019.

To capture an existential angst and the search for an understanding of life itself in a dreamy, 70s-influenced soundscape is proof of his boundless artistry. Taken from his upcoming album “Youth And Why It Ends”, expected on November 3rd, it’s the laid-back drums, mellow keys and warm guitar that shape a silken melody. And with his soft falsetto vocals, this tune is a mesmerizing musical lesson.
