Nectar Woode – “Nothing To Lose”

Born and raised in Milton Keynes and based in London, this British/Ghanaian singer and songwriter grew up in a creative family of a saxophonist dad and a fashion cutter mom. She developed her jazzy, neo-soul sound immersing herself in the vibrant London jazz community, while at university. Inspired by Erykah Badu, D’angelo and Lauryn Hill, she released her debut single “For The Best” in 2022.

Championing getting back up after life’s unexpected turns have hurt you, her new single is a sophisticated jigsaw of various sonic puzzle pieces. Taken from her upcoming debut EP “Nothing To Lose”, expected on February 23rd, it’s the intricate blend of a hiphop beat, jazzy guitars and her R&B-infused, soulful vocal style that will enchant your ears and give the listener a heartwarming aural hug.
