Born as Rebecca Callander, this dazzling Australian singer and songwriter got her first start aged 11, writing a radio jingle for a local hairdressers. Although she left music for 10 years, she eventually found her way back. She fronted a punk-rock band called RACKETT for 3 years, but chose a solo pop career. Inspired by Kylie Minogue, Charli XCX and Dua Lipa, she debuted with “Stars In My Eyes” in 2020.
Written as a cathartic healing tool to deal with her own heartbreak, her new single is as poignant as it is relatable. Taken from her upcoming debut EP “I’m That Girl”, expected on March 22nd, she filled the vivid melody with infectious disco-pop vibes. With funky guitars, glittery synths and an insatiable beat, it’s her virulent vocal cheer that immerses this catchy groove in spirited positivity.
