The Lemon Twigs – “My Golden Years”

Formed by sibling front men Brian and Michael D’Addario, this pop-rock band from Long Island was founded while they were still in high school. They were raised in a musical household and they both had extensive stage experience, from starring on Broadway to film and TV shows. Inspired by artists like Brian Wilson, Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, they debuted with “These Words” in 2016.

Injecting the wintery January blues with 60-inspired, joyous summery vibes, their new single is a reflection on how far they’ve come and how their current lives will become happy memories. Influenced by the sounds of The Beatles and The Beach Boys, it’s the peppy percussion, bustling guitar riffs and their joyful vintage harmonies, that fill this infectious retro trip with pure sonic sunshine.
