Camila Knight – “Gone Away”

Born in Barcelona, this electric UK-based Spanish singer and songwriter grew up in a music-loving house and loved singing along to her favorite songs. At 9 she sang in a local church and participated in various song contests. She learned to play piano and later studied at L‘AULA Berklee College of Music. Inspired by Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston and Eva Cassidy, she released her debut “Angels” in 2020.

Filled with inspirational optimism and a reminder to see each day as a fresh opportunity for change, her new single is shrouded in anthemic nostalgia. With an intricate blend of electronic sounds with a touch of R&B and cinematic opulence from the imposing percussion, warm bass and orchestral synths, it’s her alluring vocals that guide the listener through her dreamy, spine-tingling soundscape.

Michael Day – “Nan And Pop’s House”

Hailing from Perth, this Australian singer and songwriter first got interested in music when he started learning the guitar in school and began performing. However, he did complete a degree in teaching as well. He also became a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition in 2023. Inspired by Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers, he debuted his indie-folk sound on “Guildford” in 2020.

Reminiscing about the cherished times spent at his grandparents’ house, his new single recalls his youthful innocence of the days of yore. Forging a warm sound-scape with a gentle acoustic guitar and a jangly electric guitar, they’re joined by an effervescent rhythm and a surprising crisp trumpet. And with his heartfelt vocals, this sonic delight pays homage to his late grandparents.
