In The Spotlight

RightHandWave – “The Second Hand”

Originally from California and now based in Nashville, this artist is a self-taught singer, songwriter, guitarist and bass player. He started his musical career playing in various cover bands, while writing his own material on the side. This project records those songs collaborating with talented musician friends. Inspired by Cheap Trick, The Police and Prince, he debuted with “Camera” in 2021.

Telling a heartwrenching story of a couple from New York, who are starting to realize that their relationship has run its course, his new single captures the emotional lyrics in a sun-drenched, California-pop melody. With a jangly guitar, mellow rhythm and Sting-touched vocals, the song unfolds to a full-flavored west-coast tune that merges his words of hope with an early summertime vibe.
