Jesse Gold – “Little Nothings”

Born in Toronto, this Canadian singer and songwriter decided he wanted to play guitar at the age of 3, after hearing an Aerosmith song on the radio. A year later he started proper lessons. He continued them until he was 16, when he attended Berklee College Of Music in Boston. His first EP amassed over 1 million streams. He also collaborated with artists like Craig David and Babyface. Inspired by Lauryn Hill, John Mayer and H.E.R., he debuted with “No Good” in 2019.

Creating a timeless love song, his new single celebrates all the things that are good, comforting and precious about your partner. Wrapping the love-infused lyrics in a velvety soulful melody, this track is ear-stroking, honey-dipped smooth. With a mellow vibe from the electric guitar strums, a soothing sense from the keys and a gentle bop from the drums, it feels like a warm embrace. And with his tender vocals relating the sentimental words, this tune is doused in silky classic soul.
