Born and raised in London, this British singer, songwriter and musician has been a staple of the music industry for a while. He began playing drums aged 3 and later taught himself piano and bass guitar. At 19 he started as a session musician or songwriter for artists like Duffy and Elton John and opened for Paloma Faith and Sting. In 2020 he won the famed International Songwriters Competition. Inspired by Paul Simon and Michael Jackson, he released his debut EP “Hearts & Parables” in 2012.

Paying tribute to his Windrush heritage, with a dad from Antigua and a mum from St. Kitts, his new single shines a light on the community spirit and family bonds of his grandparents’ generation. With an imposing melody blending R&B, soul and West-Indian influences, it’s the towering percussion, sweet violins and anthemic orchestration that give this tune a grandiose stature.
