In The Spotlight

Josefine Landelius – “Thinking Of You”

Hailing from Strängnäs, a town outside of Stockholm, this Swedish singer and songwriter developed her interest in music at a young age, dreaming about singing and performing. However, it wouldn’t be until she was 22 that she decided to pursue a musical career. She’s since studied at the Songwriters Academy Of Sweden in Örnsköldsvik to hone her musical skills even more. Drawing inspiration from artists such as LÉON, Coldplay and OneRepublic, she debuted with “Home” in 2018.

Telling the tale of the one that got away, but who still has a place in your mind and heart, her new single captures the constant wonder about what could’ve been. With a musical ascension, building a synth-pop melody, it’s the imposing beat, electronic wizardry of the synths and a bouncy bass line that radiates a retro-dipped familiarity and warmth. And with her enthralling vocal charm adding a genuine sincerity to the tune, this infatuating groove is a spellbinding gem.
