Born and raised in a small town in Oklahoma, this Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter grew up dancing, playing piano and performing in local musical theatre and later added bass and guitar. She studied Creative Media Production at college, as well as spending a year in Spain. Trying to escape a miserable job, she started a YouTube channel, uploading a variety of covers. Influenced by All American Rejects, Avril Lavigne and Stevie Wonder, she released her debut “So It Goes” in 2017.
Singing about allowing yourself to take a break from life to have a little breakdown to regain the strength to pick yourself back up again and come back stronger, her new single is filled with fun sonic quirks. From the cheery rhythm, sprightly keys and cheeky tambourine to the wacky harmonies from her ‘choir of clones’, this bouncy track is an idiosyncratic amalgam of positivity. And with her luminous vocals, this jaunty tune is an infectious earworm brimming with auditory sunshine.

Born in Melbourne, this Australian singer-songwriter’s musical world was shaped by her singing along to her favourite artists while wandering the beaches of the Whitsundays. Classically trained at the University of Queensland, she combines it with a love for contemporary pop, creating a genre-fluid style. She’s played festivals like Mardi Gras-Burg and supported artists like LAVELIN. Inspired by Ed Sheeran, Julia Michaels and Sam Smith, she debuted with “Collateral Damage” in 2018.
Highlighting ones trust issues and the baggage that comes with it, which you take into a new relationship, her new single is built around honest and genuine lyricism. First getting engulfed by an electronic, hazy synth, while she’s setting the scene, the song soon erupts with an invigorating drum beat and retro rock-pop guitars. And with her exuberant vocals adding some youthful elation, this virulent tune of 80s neon pop with a slice of modernity is an electric, buoyant groove.
