Amanduh – “Sparks”

Melbourne-based, this budding Australian singer and songwriter’s life has always been intertwined with music. She started guitar lessons at a young age, sang with the Australian Youth Choir and played in various musicals before the age of 18. Now emerging with a penchant for storytelling and passionate melodies, she showcased her natural born talent at the renowned Workers Club in Melbourne. Inspired by Maisie Peters and Florence Welsh, she released her debut “Old Flame” in 2022.

Based upon the true story of her friend who was in a bad relationship, her new single was written as if they’d already broken up as a reminder that staying in a relationship is not always the best thing to do. Starting with a sweet acoustic guitar, mild keys and enchanting vocals, the song truly comes alive in the bustling chorus. With a pulsating beat and sizzling synths adding a touch of nostalgia, this scintillating burst of authentic pop blends lyrical melancholy with a sense of melodic fun.
