In The Spotlight

Trevor Martin – “Enough”

Born in Bowling Green, KY, this singer and songwriter got his start in community theatre and singing in church. At 8 years old he sang “I Want You Back” by The Jackson 5 in a show called Motown Madness. He studied music at Belmont University and has since lived in Nashville. Having created his own crossover sound of southern pop and country, he’s amassed over 20 million streams. Inspired by John Mayer, Dan + Shay and Ed Sheeran, he debuted with “Feels Good To Be Loved” in 2018.

Telling the emotional story of the realization that a relationship just isn’t working out, his new single captures the strength and love it takes to let a loved one go. Creating a melancholy-filled melody, this song is centred around a beautiful, heart-rending piano, touching every word with a sonic sensibility. Later joined by understated synth effects, it’s the poignant vulnerability and soul-reaching sentiments of his lavish, imposing vocals that elevate this exquisite tune to a sumptuous gem.
