Kate Keller – “The Way I See The World”

Born, raised and based in New York City, this singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has been a musician all of her life. A classically trained vocalist and pianist, she also pursued a PhD in Psychology. With songwriting a recent addition, she’s created an exciting, genre-spanning sound. She’s performed at renowned venues like Rockwood Music Hall and Arlene’s Grocery. Inspired by artists like Amy Winehouse, John Mayer and Maggie Rogers, she released her debut “Ghosts” in 2022.

Although covering a plethora of emotional baggage from substance abuse to growing up in a broken family, her new single offers comfort by showing a brighter future. She’s forged an invigorating pop-rock sound to supplement her resonating words. Starting soft and mellow with a slow beat and warm guitars, she adds some rock oomph in the chorus. A rolling rhythm and rock guitars fill the melody, while the tangible timbre of her vocals make this a dazzling, introspective tune.
