Debby Smith – “What If I”

Hailing from Hamburg, this German singer and songwriter has always been drawn to music. As well as taking piano lessons from the age of 6 and joining a gospel choir at the age of 12, she was able to study different aspects of music at university. After getting her bachelor’s degree, she toured Germany with Josh Groban and Eastern-Europe and Russia with Sarah Brightman. Inspired by artists like Emily King, Alicia Keys and Lianne La Havas, she debuted with “Something Special” in 2019.

Asking herself the age-old question of whether true love can stand the test of time, her new single explores the uncertainty of romance. Enveloping her emotive words is a smooth, laid-back melody with an easygoing R&B vibe. With a mellow percussion, velveteen keys and soft guitars creating a satiny soundscape, she decorates it with a groovy sonic silk. Conjuring a sleek, 90s R&B-infused tune and with the gentle flow of her voice, this tranquil gem has a mesmerizing shine.

Arthur Hill – “Too Much Ain’t Enough”

Hailing from Buckinghamshire, this British singer and songwriter is also a comedian and social media influencer. He started experimenting with uploading videos aged 12, but found his niche while in university, uploading skits and impressions to TikTok. A successful impression of James Blunt ignited a spark to add a musical career. Creating an unique blend of pop, crooner and hip-hop and inspired by Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley, he released his debut “Tiny Room” in 2022.

Singing about taking a fresh relationship to the next level, this new track is equally filled with eager anticipation and enticing sensuality. Taken from his recently released EP “In The Middle Of Somewhere”, this flirtatious song begins with a mellow solitary guitar and is later joined by a lively percussion. With added interlaced synth effects, it leads to a boisterous electric guitar solo. And with his passionate, wistful vocals woven through the melody, this is an infectious and intoxicating tune.
