Born in Santa Ana and based in Los Angeles, this singer and songwriter found her musical creativity at a young age. Despite that she studied acting at New York University, followed by a B.A. from the School Of Theatre from the University of Southern California. During this time a friend taught her to play guitar. Since starting her music career she’s toured with Pale Waves and Bishop Briggs. Inspired by artists like Joni Mitchell and Björk, she released her debut EP “Strange Darling” in 2015.
Taken from her upcoming album “Erotica Veronica”, expected on February 28th, she explores the experience of being a queer in a heteronormative relationship through her indie-pop songs. Her new single forges a surreal sonic soundscape, starting with some haunting electronic sounds, joined by mellow keys, before invigorating drums inject some buoyant energy. And with a retro-touched flute solo and her bewitching vocals, this honest tune has an enchanting allure to it.
