Yarin Glam – “Rebel”

Born in Israel, this singer and songwriter always had an obsession with music and dreamt of being part of that world one day. She and her family moved to Los Angeles when she was 14 years old and she started recording music at 17. Raising awareness of mental health issues, she writes personal lyrics about her own struggles with an eating disorder and the need to embrace your authentic self. Inspired by Rihanna, Lana Del Ray and Beyoncé, she debuted with “Free” in 2020.

Singing about embracing your individuality and defying societal expectations, her new single captures her rebellious streak against what other assume she should strive for as a woman. Taken from her upcoming EP “Human”, the upbeat track starts with an electronic beat and a distorted voice, but opens up to a modern R&B vibe. With a driving rhythm and lavish bass, the song ascends to a mix of a soulful tune, layered with rich, electronic effects and her empowering vocals.

Angelina Curtis – “Stereo”

Hailing from Perth, this 17 year young Australian singer/songwriter has been paving her way in the music world since she wrote her first song aged 10. Being able to play guitar and keyboards, she always has them handy for when inspiration strikes. At 15 she auditioned for Australian Idol and reached the Top 8. Also a working screen actor, she played Ellie in the 2022 movie “Cherubhead”. Inspired by Lizzy McAlpine, Elton John and Chappell Roan, she debuted with “Fire Between” in 2019.

Giving a teenage insight into the adolescent desire to be seen, heard and loved, her new single is a vivid sonic daydream. Kicking the song off with a slight synth and perky guitar chords, the track both ascends in intensity and adds instrumental layers as well. When the melody switches gears, she adds a peppy bass line and driving drums, leading to a bustling finale. And with her storytelling vocals and impressive high notes, this rich alt-pop groove is a luscious, atmospheric journey.
