Current Swell – “If You Want My Time”

Based on Vancouver Island, this Canadian indie-rock band was formed back in 2005 and consists of Scott Stanton, David Lang, Marcus Manhas and Louis Sadava. They started as a group of friends who enjoy to jam, write music and perform in backyards. Since those humble beginnings they’ve toured extensively, opened for artists like The Beach Boys and won the Peak Performance Project in 2011. Inspired by Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and Nirvana, they released their debut album “So I Say” in 2005.

Celebrating the necessary balance between love’s affections and those small imperfections that elevate a relationship to something real, their new single is a heartfelt, emotional journey. Mixing touches of rock, roots and folk into an infectious melody, it’s the lustrous guitars and propulsive rhythm that catches us in a welcoming, sonic embrace. And with the warmth of Scott’s authentic vocals, this nostalgia-dipped tune is a feel-good groove that will find its way to your heart and your soul.
