In The Spotlight

Jensen McRae – “Savannah”

Hailing from Los Angeles, this singer and songwriter has been singing all of her life. She began learning to play piano aged 7. In high school she attended Grammy Camp to learn more about the music industry. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in popular music performance at the USC Thornton School Of Music. Since then she’s toured with artists like Noah Kahan and Corinne Bailey Rae. Inspired by Carole King, Alicia Keys and James Taylor, she released her debut “White Boy” in 2019.

Filled with heartfelt emotion, her new single reflects on the end of a toxic relationship and the realization that when trying to move on she’s constantly confronted with her past. Taken from her upcoming album “I Don’t Know How But They Found Me”, expected on April 25th, it’s the soft acoustic guitars, bobbing beat and gentle piano chords that create the delicate melody. And with her emotive, yet radiant vocals conveying freedom and self-discovery, this lavish tune is breathtaking.
