In The Spotlight

Nyah Grace – “Only Mine”

Hailing from Oregon, USA and now based in Manchester, UK, this singer and songwriter asked her mother for singing lessons aged 6. She then taught herself how to play piano and guitar by watching YouTube videos. Thanks to her great aunt Michelle, who sang background for Chic and The System, she found jazz and R&B at 12. Since her move to the UK she’s played festivals like Beyond The Music. Inspired by Lauryn Hill, D’angelo and Estelle, she released her debut “Black Coffee” in 2019.

Following the evolution of a relationship, blossoming from casual into real love, her new single shows a genuine vulnerability and intimacy. Taken from her upcoming album “Divinely Devoted”, expected on June 11th, this sultry song is pure musical velvet. With a serene rhythm, sleek piano and delicate bass conjuring up a vivid image of a smoky basement jazz bar, it’s the heavenly harmonies and the smoothness of her vocals that make this jazzy tune an absolute joy for your ears.
