Hailing from Liverpool, this British band was formed in 2021 by twin brothers Stephen and Anthony Ng. Since their start they expanded the line-up with guitarist Mason Jones and bassist Bobby Griffiths. Following in the footsteps of legendary Merseybeat bands, they’re revitalizing their famous Britpop sound. They’ve played the O2 Academy as well as festivals such as the Formby Festival. Inspired by Ocean Colour Scene and Oasis, they debuted with a cover of The La’s “Fishing Net” in 2021.
Celebrating a friendship that is so tightly knit that the outside world couldn’t understand, their new single is a wink to the unique bond twins experience. Mixing a touch of 60’s pop with a multitude of 90s Britpop flavours, the cheery song conjures up a nostalgia-dipped sunlit afternoon. With it’s infectious rhythm and blossoming electric guitars forging the vibrant melody, it’s the jubilant vocals telling a melancholic tale that make this gleeful summery groove something to care about.
