Rosie H Sullivan – “Don’t You Wanna Feel It”

Born on the Isle of Lewis, this Scottish singer and songwriter grew up listening to her dad’s music from Bob Dylan to Joan Armatrading. She first learned to play the fiddle and later added guitar and began writing songs as a teenager. Now based in Edinburgh, she’s studied music at University. Since starting her career she’s played venues like King Tut’s and various festivals like Belladrum and Solas. Inspired by Joni Mitchell, Laura Marling and Phoebe Bridgers, she debuted with “So It Is” in 2021.

Written on a trip to Copenhagen and capturing the moment where life seems bright again after a period of feeling sad, her new single is a joyous, sun-soaked celebration. Taken from her upcoming collection “Phases”, expected on October 2nd, she begins with an acoustic guitar and beguiling harmonies, before the sonic party truly gets started. With a lively rhythm and a touch of brass created by processing their own voices, it’s her heartfelt vocals that make this an absolute delight.
