Born in Amsterdam and based in London, this British-Dutch singer and songwriter started her musical journey studying piano at the Junior Jazz College. At 15 she moved to London to study at the renowned BRIT School. Back in Amsterdam she studied at the Conservatory. Now splitting her time between the UK and The Netherlands, she’s played festivals like ESNS and The Great Escape. Inspired by Carole King, Feist and Tame Impala, she debuted with “(Songs From) The Sandbox” in 2013.
Singing about acknowledging fear in a turbulent world and embracing it rather than suppress it, her single wraps her lyrical turmoil in a luminous melody. Taken from her upcoming album “The Lighthouse”, expected on January 23rd, 2026, the songs backbone is the titular drum, but is soon paired with a warm guitar. And with the addition of spectral atmospherics and sprightly brass completing the tune, it’s her authentic vocals that merge all elements together into a lavish whole.
