In The Spotlight

Zoey Madison – “Scars”

Based in New York City, this gifted singer and songwriter was blessed with a rare four-octave vocal range and an extended whistle tone. She honed her craft studying at the renowned Berklee School of Music and with various vocal coaches. At 16 she performed with the Naples Philharmonic together with her childhood idol Kristen Chenoweth. She also performed at the MGM Music Hall. Inspired by Mariah Carey, Judy Garland and Ariana Grande, she released her debut “Move” in 2025.

Taking us on a journey of vulnerability, leading from the devastation of heartbreak to a renewed resilience, this song highlights that a broken heart can actually be beautiful as it shapes the person that we become. Taken from her debut EP “Electric”, released in 2025, it starts with a passionate piano and celestial backing vocals and is later joined by a resonant beat and opulent violins. And with her bewitching vocals, it’s an intricate melodic amalgamation combined with emotional honesty.
