In The Spotlight

Ana Sky – “King Of Hearts”

Based in Los Angeles, this singer and songwriter has been singing her whole life and been writing poetry since the age of 14. She initially pursued a career in science and studied biology at Occidental College, focusing on embryology. A secret recording her father made of her singing led to her being discovered by Diane Warren. She’s opened for Jesse McCartney and Transviolet. Inspired by Amy Winehouse, Edith Piaf and Billie Holiday, she released her debut “Loving You Is Hard” in 2024.

Describing the exciting, yet unnerving, moment just before falling in love, her new single captures the unsettling feeling of having to open oneself up to romance. The multi-layered production blends vibrant pop with a healthy dose of nostalgia and a touch of jazzy glamour. With an imposing percussion, balmy bass line and alluring violins creating a sweltering melody, it’s her raw, sassy and confident vocals that tie all sonic elements together into a dreamy, retro-dipped, soulful pop gem.
