Hana Lili – “Undress Me”

Born in the Vale of Glamorgan, this Welsh singer and songwriter made her first mark on the entertainment scene as a voice actress, voicing Chloe in the Welsh dub of Chloe’s Closet. She began writing songs at 14 and studied music production at college. One of her songs has been used on ITV’s Love Island. Since then she’s supported Coldplay on their Music Of The Spheres World Tour in Cardiff. Inspired by No Doubt, The Cardigans and Fleetwood Mac, she released her debut “Stay” in 2021.

Lyrically telling the story of a relationship that ended, her new single is about the moment you realize that getting undressed starts to feel uncomfortable because the love is already over. Taking the sensitive lyrics and wrapping them in pure sonic vulnerability, the emotionally-charged melody sounds intimate and warm. With a delicate piano and soft strings leading to an anthemic chorus with a rolling rhythm, it’s her heartrending vocals that convey a refreshing honesty and valor.
