Molly Grace – “Heaven Sent”

Born in Lexington and based in Nashville, this singer and songwriter grew up in a very musical family. With both her grandfathers playing in 1950s-era bands and a great-uncle and aunt who worked with Shakira, music played an important part in her life. Already proficient in playing guitar and writing songs, she attended Belmont University studying Commercial Voice. Inspired by artists such as Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan and Freddie Mercury, she released her debut “Here I Am” in 2021.

Celebrating love is all its forms with a special wink to a proud queer identity, her new single is funkalicious fun with a cheeky disco streak. Immediately exulting with a bustling bass, propulsive drums and shimmering synths, the song starts with some sparkling 70s hues. The explosively high-energy chorus, where funk and disco meets peppy pop, gets your pulse racing. The Kowloons – “I Don’t Care”

Hailing from Liverpool, this British band was formed in 2021 by twin brothers Stephen and Anthony Ng. Since their start they expanded the line-up with guitarist Mason Jones and bassist Bobby Griffiths. Following in the footsteps of legendary Merseybeat bands, they’re revitalizing their famous Britpop sound. They’ve played the O2 Academy as well as festivals such as the Formby Festival. Inspired by Ocean Colour Scene and Oasis, they debuted with a cover of The La’s “Fishing Net” in 2021.

Celebrating a friendship that is so tightly knit that the outside world couldn’t understand, their new single is a wink to the unique bond twins experience. Mixing a touch of 60’s pop with a multitude of 90s Britpop flavours, the cheery song conjures up a nostalgia-dipped sunlit afternoon. With it’s infectious rhythm and blossoming electric guitars forging the vibrant melody, it’s the jubilant vocals telling a melancholic tale that make this gleeful summery groove something to care about.

MARLEY – “Good Times”

Originally from The Netherlands and now based in London, this Dutch singer and songwriter has been battling mental health issues, such as body dysmorphia, her entire life. Through her musical journey she realized that being genuine and loving yourself as you are is more important than being perfect. Since then she’s performed at Camden Jazz Café as well as Sofar Sounds. Inspired by Amy Winehouse, Carole King and Stevie Wonder, she debuted with “Look Mama T.H.O.T.” in 2024.

Reminding us that wealth is not the same thing as happiness, her new single reflects on her time working with well-to-do individuals. Creating an auditory brew of sonic influences, the song starts with reggae-touched guitar strums, before the addition of a driving beat slides the song into an lively pop layer. And with some soulful keys and her playful, emotion-driven vocals injecting heartfelt empowerment, this tasty, timeless tune delivers a good time from the very first note.

Social Gravy – “These Are The Times”

Consisting of Brad Kohn from the UK and Vee Bordukov from Belarus, this alt-rock duo is now based in Los Angeles. Brad began playing piano aged 6 and has worked with artists like Neil Young and the Foo Fighters. Vee is trained on guitar and fell in love with the blues-rock of J.J. Cale and Eric Clapton. They met in L.A. in 2014 and have been honing their melodic rock sound since. Inspired by Coldplay, The Beatles and The Black Keys, they debuted with their album “Behind Every Yes” in 2017.

Lyrically celebrating the ecstatic emotions that reconciling a past romance conjures up, their new single is an absolute delight. Drawing us into the amorous story is a mellow acoustic guitar, warm beat and a touch of organ and leads us to the full-bodied chorus. Touched with a dash of melodic nostalgia, the intoxicating drums, inviting guitars and choir-like backing harmonies wrap around you like a blanket. Inspired by Ariana Grande, Chaka Khan and Lauryn Hill, she released her debut single “You Can’t Love Me At All” in 2019.

Gina Zo – “Dirty Habits”

Originally from Philadelphia and now based in L.A., this singer and songwriter grew up with a vivid dream of becoming a performer. Her grandfather supported her and bought her a guitar. At 18 she signed with an indie label, only to be confronted with the harsh realities of the industry. In 2016 she was a contestant on Season 10 of The Voice. She formed the band Velvet Rouge and debuted with “Never Meant” in 2021. Inspired by Norah Jones and Stevie Nicks, she’s now debuting solo.

Singing about reality not quite measuring up to your dreams, her new single captures the thrill chasing after those dreams forges regardless. Deeply dipped in 80s rock, she blends some neon vitality with a high-energy pop-rock vibe. Starting with shimmering retro synths and punchy drums, she’s injecting some pure summertime fun in the bubbly chorus.
