Boogie Monster – “Familiar Love”

Based in Deventer, this Dutch band excites audiences with a soulful boogie and blues blend. Consisting of the brothers Nolle and Beinte Groen, Tom Bloembergen and Henk Hulzebosch, they met while they were all playing in different bands. Since they’ve played festivals like Zwarte Cross and Mañana Mañana and supported artists like DeWolff and Neal Francis. Inspired by Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers and Young Gun Silver Fox, they released their debut “She’s Got It Going On” in 2019.

Inviting the listener to find a moment of solace in nostalgia, their new single is aimed to elevate your mood and catch some sonic sunshine. Taken from their upcoming album “Goosebumps”, to be released on September 13th, the lively tune gets going with a bouncy rhythm and joyous organ tones. Hailing from Sydney, this Australian singer and songwriter love for music blossomed at a young age. However it was her first visit to the Tamworth Country Music Festival that ignited a spark in her. She took part in the Toyota Star Maker competition, propelling her talent into the spotlight. Her songwriting prowess is enriched by her pouring an unyielding passion into her songs. Inspired by Taylor Swift, Kelsea Ballerini and Maisie Peters, she debuted with “Better Than Ever” in 2018.

Choosing to park her country stylings in the background in order to favour a new pop sound, her new single sings about her being glad to leave a relationship behind, only for her ex to keep holding on. With a temperamental rhythm and vigorous electric rock guitars laying down the spirited melody, it’s her confident vocals singing the passionate and empowering lyrics that give a bit of a bite to this assertive tune, showing off her impressive, genre-bending talent in a convincing way.

Quinn DeVeaux – “USA”

Born in Gary, Indiana, this blues/soul singer and songwriter was raised on his moms 80s R&B music and his dads classic rock. His grandmother was a jazz singer and mentored him on gospel. He’s been traveling the country, from Olympia, WA to attend Evergreen State College to San Francisco and beyond, honing his eclectic sound. Inspired by blues greats like Muddy Waters and Bo Diddley and soul legends such as Ray Charles and Bill Withers, he debuted with his album “Originals” in 2013.

Using his own, autobiographical story to show what it was like growing up in America, his new single takes you on a personal journey through his childhood. Taken from his upcoming album “Leisure”, expected on July 5th, the joyous vibe from the song is dipped in southern blues with a slight touch of country. With an invigorating drum, exuberant piano and howling electric guitars, this tune is a sonic celebration. And his soulful, storytelling vocals make this elated jam a pure musical feast.

Carrie Baxter – “Woman”

Hailing from Waterford and now based in London, this Irish singer and songwriter comes from a musical family. Getting her start by teaching herself to play a guitar she got for Christmas, a love for performance was always in her blood. She moved to the UK to study at the London School of Musical Theatre and became a songwriter in the dance music scene working with Guy Chambers. Inspired by Erykah Badu and Amy Winehouse, she debuted her own jazz/soul sound on “Lady” in 2019.

Written as an homage to all the strong women in her life, her new single is filled with empowerment and beauty. Carrying her profound lyrics, she envelops them in a warm and inviting neo-soul and R&B blend. Starting with slow keys and a jazzy rhythm, she’s driving the song with her commanding R&B-styled vocal prowess. Despite a conservative upbringing in Florida, she eventually settled in Los Angeles to pursue her destiny. Although she grew up listening to The Killers, she found her sound in the neon haze of 80s music. She opened for AURORA and Miya Folick and toured with Alex Lahey. Inspired by artists like Kate Bush, she released her debut single “Emeralds” in 2017.

Lyrically rejecting all kinds of bigotry against the queer and trans communities, her new single celebrates their right to live and express themselves as they please. Immediately sparking a nostalgic vibe from the 80s-infused pop and disco blend, it’s the retro rhythm, dazzling synths and electric guitars that forge an infectious, neon-dipped melody. Eddie Witz & The Most High – “In California”

Based in Los Angeles, this multi-genre singer and songwriter started singing and piano lessons at the age of 5. Since then he studied music, performed in the theatre and got a Theatre Arts degree in college. A visit to Jamaica aged 7 sparked a lifelong love for the island and it’s musical roots. His musical development was temporarily halted by the diagnosis of having Ramsey Hunt Syndrome. Inspired by Bob Marley, John Lennon and Elton John, he released his debut “My Island” in 2023.

Trying to capture the essence of the Golden State’s ability to help people find themselves, his new single is a sun-soaked journey of self-discovery. Taken from his upcoming EP “I Am What I Am”, expected on July 12th, the melody starts with a folk-infused acoustic guitar. Driven like a road trip over the nostalgic notes, the song adds a laidback pop rhythm and a touch of steel guitar.
