The Cumberland River Project – “Your Man”

Proof that you’re never to old to follow your dreams, German songwriter and musician Frank Renfordt started this project in his 60s. Although engrossed by music since childhood, he worked most of his life in the steel industry. However he always played guitar and wrote songs. A love for country music led him to Nashville to start a solo career. He released his debut “Back On The Road” in 2020.

Effortlessly layering blues and rock with 60s and 70s soul and a touch of country, his new single is an invigorating musical amalgamation. Drawing the listener straight in with a lively rhythm and bold brass, it’s his gritty voice, joined by backing vocalist Jenny Sabi, that accompanies you through the song. Growing up in Pennsylvania, twin sister duo Atisha and Nishita Lulla were always immersed in music, be it from dad’s love of The Beatles and The Eagles, or their mom playing Johnny Cash and Eric Clapton. The gift of a guitar opened the door to a music career. Endless gigging honed their Americana sound. Inspired by Michelle Branch and Celine Dion, they released their debut “Don’t Say” in 2016.

Capturing the rollercoaster that being obsessed with keeping control of life can have on a relationship, their new single shows that true love can keep you grounded. Laying the foundation with a soft piano and a single emotive voice, the song ascends to a lush indie-folk and pop blend. Adam Wedd – “Pink Dinosaurs”

Born and raised in London, this British singer/songwriter fell in love with music aged 7 and started taking piano lessons. At the age of 13 he taught himself to play guitar, after stealing and never returning his dads guitar. He’s got a masters in songwriting from Tileyard Music. Inspired by artists such as Celine Dion, Tom Waits and Johnny Cash, he released his debut single “Flowers After Flames” in 2019.

Telling the story of a divorced dad of two, who has his kids stay with him for the first time, his new single is filled with genuine lyrical and sonic vulnerability. Captivating from the very first soft guitar plucks, the song evolves with a driving beat, shimmering electric guitars and a passionate chorus. And with his emotion-laden vocals, this luscious and tumultuous tune goes from soothing to scintillating.

Devon Gabriella – “Gone For Good”

Growing up in Los Gatos, this singer and songwriter was singing with her dad on the piano since she was a toddler. Aged 8 she started a trio with her twin sister and a friend and performed at local talent shows. She moved to L.A. to pursue her music career and took to TikTok for promotion. Inspired by Gracie Abrams, Lizzie McAlpine and Sabrina Carpenter, she debuted with “The Way I See You” in 2020.

Knowing that a relationship has come to an end, but reminiscing and longing to have what was lost again, her new single goes on a recognizable lyrical rollercoaster. Starting with an emotive synth and distorted voice, the song comes into its own in the upbeat chorus. Ben Drysdale – “If I Don’t Lie Down”

Hailing from Canberra, this award-winning Australian singer and songwriter has been performing since 2004 as part of bands such as Beth N Ben and East Row Rabble. He was a semi-finalist in the 2020 International Songwriting Competition and landed 2nd place in the 2023 Hawaii Songwriting Festival competition. Inspired by the likes of Cat Stevens, he recently debuted his indie-folk solo sound.
