Danielle Nicole – “Make Love”

Born as Danielle Nicole Schnebelen, this blues singer and songwriter grew up with a love to perform, from taking dance lessons to playing saxophone in school. Her first proper performance was aged 12, singing a Koko Taylor song, and she sang lead in her father’s band aged 16. She would later form the band Trampled Under Foot with her brothers. She debuted solo on her self-titled EP in 2015.

Relating a message of love, family and togetherness when life’s painful moments are getting too much, her new single is filled with passionate soul-infused blues. Taken from her upcoming album “The Love You Bleed”, expected on January 26th, it’s the retro soul rhythm, fiery bass and sleek organ accompanying her emotive and fierce vocals that make this unforgettable jam sound full of sonic love.

Imogen Clark – “If I Want In”

Hailing from Western Sydney, this Australian singer and songwriter has always been immersed in music. Trained as an opera singer from the age of 8, she moved on to piano, guitar and songwriting aged 12. Since then she’s recorded in iconic studio’s in Nashville, London and Los Angeles. Inspired by Bruce Springsteen, HAIM and Taylor Swift, she released her debut “Take Me For A Ride” in 2016.

Telling her own story that she needed to leave her home town in order to grow into the person she wanted to be, her new single pays homage to both her roots and her journey. Lighting her lyrics with bright neon, it’s the crisp synths, bombastic drums and raw electric guitars that forge a high-energy 80s pop-rock jam. And with her im-passioned vocals, this slick retro groove is pure sonic gold.

Etham – “Know Me Yet”

Based in Reading, this British singer and songwriter has been dreaming of a life in music since he started playing the guitar aged 9. At 13 he began singing songs. He started performing wherever he could, from local talent shows to busking, and progressed to supporting JP Cooper and James Morrison. Inspired by The Beatles, Elton John and Otis Redding, he debuted with his EP “Better Now” in 2018.

Bringing an ode to true love and exploring the emerging feelings and the even deeper ones ahead, his new single blossoms just like the budding romance it describes. Taken from his upcoming EP “Patterns”, to be released on November 24th, he starts with a gentle piano to titillate your senses, before adding an anthemic rhythm. Hailing from Brighton, this British singer and songwriter grew up surrounded by music and her and her sisters were actively encouraged to learning new musical skills, including weekly singing lessons. She attended drama school on the weekends and slowly shaped a fresh jazz-pop sound of her own. Inspired by Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse, she debuted with “Should’ve Been You” in 2019.

Telling an amorous tale filled with hope and anticipation for a possible romance, her new single blends her poetic lyrics with an infectious melody. After finishing high school he moved to Stockholm and saw his debut album receive two Swedish Grammy nominations. Inspired by Bob Dylan, The National and The XX, he released his debut single “Luzon” in 2019.

To capture an existential angst and the search for an understanding of life itself in a dreamy, 70s-influenced soundscape is proof of his boundless artistry. Born and raised in the suburbs of Toronto, this Canadian singer and songwriter started learning piano aged 4 and singing in church as well as writing her own songs aged 9. She studied Journalism at Carleton University, but began posting covers on YouTube, leading to pursuing music after graduation. Inspired by Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder and Lauryn Hill, she debuted with “Think About It” in 2018.

Chronicling the wish to be the one that a love interest wants to see and the emotional battle of finding that you’re not being seen by that person, her new single deals with feeling insignificant. Taken from her EP “That’s All For Now” and wrapped in silky-smooth jazzy vibes, it’s the mellow keys, dulcet rhythm and her sultry vocal artistry that make this rich, introspective tune sound enchanting.
