Andy Goodwin – “Answerphone”
Originally from Manchester and now London-based, this British singer and songwriter’s childhood was immersed by his father’s Britpop CD collection. Bands such as Blur, The Charlatans and The Smiths laid the foundation, but it wasn’t until his brother started playing guitar he started to make music himself. Since he’s played venues like Camden Assembly and the Neighbourhood Festival. Inspired by Babyshambles, The Strokes and The Libertines, he debuted with “Fred Perry Girl” in 2024.
Telling the emotional tale of a loved one slowly losing control over themselves and life as a whole, his new single deals with trying to offer support to someone who doesn’t want it. Steeped in early 00s Britpop nostalgia, this lush tune lets every sonic element shine. From the lively rhythm and the shimmering keys to the full-bodied electric guitars, it’s a melodic retro journey. Filling the notes with indie pop-rock vibes, its his rousing vocals that blend Britpop memories with a fresh new take.

SIESKI – “Close”
Based in Vancouver, this Canadian singer and songwriter grew up in a musical household and trained in dance, piano, choir and theatre. She moved from singing in a choir aged 6 to writing original instrumentals aged 11. At York University in Toronto she got a bachelor’s degree in acting. She played the Reeperbahn Festival with Daysormay, as well as solo at festivals such as Surrey Pride. Inspired by Imogen Heap, Regina Spektor and Sara Bareilles, she debuted with her EP “Dreamist” in 2019.
Lyrically celebrating true connection as a lasting wonder rather than a short-lived victory, her new single is an intimate and honest sonic gem. Infused with smooth jazz influences, this mesmerizing song breathes a calmness and a warmth that feels comforting. Starting with a mellow piano and soft cello, the melody is unchased – it gently bops on the velvety notes.
