Alex Amor – “Super Sonic”

Glasgow born and London based, this British singer and songwriter has been exploring music since she was little. Taking up the flute aged 8 and writing her first song aged 11 all culminated in her playing her first gig at 16. Since she’s graced various festival stages, including The Great Escape. Inspired by Corinne Bailey Rae, Alvvays and Kurt Vile, she debuted with “The Part With Each Other” in 2020.

Celebrating the euphoria of new love and filled with optimism and hope, her new single gives her dreamy alt-pop sound a touch of uplifting colour. Driven by the bounce of the rhythm, she stacks shimmering synths and vibrant guitars on top and creates an upbeat, yet wistful melody. And with her melancholic vocals gliding over the notes, this sensual jam is an infectious super sonic groove.

In The Spotlight

Rosa Raye – “Forever Boy”

Based in Copenhagen, this Danish singer and songwriter decided to trade in a mainstream record deal in favor of pursuing an independent career. After songwriting trips to Los Angeles, New York and Nashville, she’s created a modern R&B, pop and soul fusion, with a Scandinavian flair. Inspired by artists like Whitney Houston, Beyoncé and Aretha Franklin, she debuted with “Living Spree” in 2020.

Lyrically giving up on superficial relationships and cynical dating advice, while giving in to a new love, her new single wraps her romance in an infectiously playful groove. With an insatiable bouncy beat, hypnotic bass plucks and sizzling synths giving a Neo-Disco vibe to the poptastic tune, it’s her refreshing, retro-touched vocals that douses this smoking dance-floor filler in plentiful, feel-good fun.
