Born in Morocco and raised in Montreal after being adopted into a loving family, this Canadian singer and songwriter did have to face harsh challenges like bullying and later addiction and mental health problems. She chose music as a way to deal with those struggles. Incorporating her vast life’s experiences into her lyrics, she’s created a fine R&B-pop blend.
