Conor Gains – “Lightning”

Born in Cambridge, Ontario, this gifted Canadian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist grew up in a musical family. Having taken lessons in violin and piano as a child, he found his instrument in the guitar and started playing sold-out shows at 13. Drawing inspiration from legends like Bob Dylan, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder, he debuted his soulful rock sound on his album “Compass” in 2018.

Taking the best elements from a plethora of various genres, his new single is a delicious cocktail of musical flavors. With warm classic soul, a touch of modern R&B, roaring rock and a pinch of jazz, all enveloped in a divine gospel seasoning, it’s the celestial organ tones, anthemic rhythm and full-bodied choral harmonies that make this robust, foot-stomping powerhouse sound quite heavenly.
