Hailing from Zebulon, Georgia, this country-pop singer and songwriter started singing in church where her grandfather was a pastor. A multi-instrumentalist, she learned to play the ukulele aged 10, the guitar aged 11 and later added the piano. She’s been named Billboard’s “21 Under 21” twice and CMT’s Next Woman Of Country. She also recorded songs with Scotty McCreery and Vince Gill. Inspired by Travis Tritt, Randy Travis and The Judds, she released her debut EP “Real To Me” in 2021.
Telling us the story about an immature partner who isn’t ready for a relationship, nor to grow up, her new single mocks him by highlighting expensive hobbies despite not paying his bills. Her lyrical storytelling is accompanied by a sunlit and lighthearted country-pop melody and sprinkled with a touch of nostalgia. With a bouncy retro rhythm, joyous electric guitars and her bright, rosy vocals forging the vibrant tune, this energetic groove conjures a polished yet playful soundscape.
