Debby Smith – Jansen's Jamz

Hailing from Hamburg, this German singer and songwriter has always been drawn to music. As well as taking piano lessons from the age of 6 and joining a gospel choir at the age of 12, she was able to study different aspects of music at university. After getting her bachelor’s degree, she toured Germany with Josh Groban and Eastern-Europe and Russia with Sarah Brightman. Inspired by artists like Emily King, Alicia Keys and Lianne La Havas, she debuted with “Something Special” in 2019.

Asking herself the age-old question of whether true love can stand the test of time, her new single explores the uncertainty of romance. Enveloping her emotive words is a smooth, laid-back melody with an easygoing R&B vibe.
