Gary Beals – “Self Revolution”

Hailing from Cherry Brook, Nova Scotia, this award-winning Canadian singer fell in love with music singing in his church choir. He went on to become runner-up in the first season of Canadian Idol in 2003 and released his self-titled debut album in 2004. Inspired by legends like Aretha Franklin, Al Green and Michael Jackson, he returned from a 10 year hiatus with his single “Me For Me” in 2020.

Filled with a lyrical honesty and authenticity, showing a piece of his heart and soul, his new single pays homage to the classic soul artists he grew up listening to. Taken from his album “The Melody Within”, he pours a multitude of emotion into the instrumentation.
