Originally from Philadelphia and now based in L.A., this singer and songwriter grew up with a vivid dream of becoming a performer. Her grandfather supported her and bought her a guitar. At 18 she signed with an indie label, only to be confronted with the harsh realities of the industry. In 2016 she was a contestant on Season 10 of The Voice. She formed the band Velvet Rouge and debuted with “Never Meant” in 2021. Inspired by Norah Jones and Stevie Nicks, she’s now debuting solo.
Singing about reality not quite measuring up to your dreams, her new single captures the thrill chasing after those dreams forges regardless. Deeply dipped in 80s rock, she blends some neon vitality with a high-energy pop-rock vibe. Starting with shimmering retro synths and punchy drums, she’s injecting some pure summertime fun in the bubbly chorus. And with the addition of fresh guitars and her power-house vocals, this playful groove is an infectious summer anthem.
