Jon Lindsay – “Big Stage”

Hailing from Portland, this singer, songwriter, musician and producer began playing in bands like The Catch Fire, The Young Sons and more notably with Benji Hughes, with whom he still performs today. He is proficient on keys, guitar, bass and drums. Together with Caitlin Cary of Whiskeytown he co-founded the North Carolina Music Love Army, a non-profit music collective. Inspired by Freddie Mercury and Jackson Browne, he released his debut EP “Magic Winter & The Dirty South” in 2009.

Influenced by the sound of legendary 70s performers like Harry Nilsson and The Eagles, his new single is an organic, vintage-dipped rock ballad that finds its way to our soul. Starting with a delicate piano, the song exudes a welcoming warmth. A mild percussion joins the dreamy soundscape, while his emotion-laden vocals tell his intimate tale. Born in Denver and based in Nashville, this singer and songwriter was active in various sports until the death of her father when she was 11. She first made her mark playing roles in musical theatre, such as The Color Purple for which she won a True West Award. She was also a contestant on American Idol 2012 and My Kind Of Country in 2023 and headlined on the Celebrity Edge cruise. Inspired by Whitney Houston, Shania Twain and Mariah Carey, she debuted with “Almost Love” in 2019.

Singing about that magical early stage of love when you first start falling for someone, her new single is a sparkling celebration of new romance. Fuelled by her unique country-pop sound, the song is driven by an infectious drum beat. She’s won multiple awards such as ‘International Rising Star’ from the International Singer Songwriter Association and ‘Youth Songwriter Of The Year 2024’ from the Australian Songwriters Asscociation, as well as gaining 1.6 million streams on Spotify. Inspired by Avril Lavigne, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift, she released her debut single “Surely” in 2020.

With deep meaning lyrics reminding us that just because we’re in the background of someone else’s life, it doesn’t mean we have to be a background character in our own, her new single was written as if it was a movie scene. Melodically the song follows her journey from vulnerability to gaining self-confidence. Starting with a mellow piano, the song unfolds into a bouncy, retro-touched pop vibrancy. Reinventing the boyband for the modern era, this British five-piece group hails from all over the UK and comprises of Alex, Ashton, Conor, Freddie and Oscar.
