Jane Honor – “If It Doesn’t End”

Born in New York City and now based in Los Angeles, this singer and songwriter has been singing and writing music since she was 8, beginning with musical theatre and went on to perform in venues like the Apollo Theater in New York and The Hotel CafĂ© in L.A. After her move she went to USC Thornton School of Music and she’s also exploring the production side of music. Inspired by Regina Spektor, Maggie Rogers and Phoebe Bridgers, she released her debut “Deer In The Road” in 2020.

Singing about living in constant fear of having your heart broken, her new single narrates the anxiety of when the possibility of losing the one you deeply love takes hold. Captured in an emotion-filled dream-pop melody, the song starts with a crying slide guitar and soft synths. It’s then joined by a mellow percussion and establishes a hypnoticly beautiful soundscape. And with an honest sadness in her mesmerizing vocals, this luscious, spellbinding tune is absolutely breathtaking.
