Jenny On Holiday – “Good Intentions”

Born as Jenny Hollingsworth, this British singer and songwriter kicked off her career at a very young age. Together with her childhood friend Rosa Walton she formed the pop duo Let’s Eat Grandma and got a record deal with Transgressive Records at 16. They debuted with the single “Deep Six Textbook”. Although the duo is still very much alive, they’re also pursuing their solo careers. Inspired by Prefab Sprout, Kate Bush and Cyndi Lauper, she debuted with “Every Ounce Of Me” in 2025.

Singing about striving to live and love fully despite life’s uncertainties, her new single reflects on how challenges of the past do not define who you are today. Taken from her upcoming album “Quicksand Heart”, expected on January 9th, 2026, the song is filled with neon-coloured synths. Doused in 80s pop nostalgia, she adds an invigorating beat and warm bass to complete the retro sound. And with her hypnotic vocals adding a touch of mystery, this power ballad is a sound for sore ears.
