Jessie Frye – “Bad Behavior”

Raised in Dallas and based in Denton, this Texas-native singer and songwriter began taking singing lessons aged 8 and added classical piano lessons at the Russian School Of Music aged 11. Since the start of her career she’s performed at festivals like SXSW and Edgefest, as well as venues like House of Blues and The Kessler Theater. She’s also opened for artists like Pat Benatar and Chvrches. Inspired by The Cure, Michael Jackson and Tori Amos, she released her debut EP “The Delve” in 2008.

Lyrically describing a toxic, obsessive and destructive relationship, her new single highlights a love that is not healthy, but rather an addiction to each others drama. Giving a contemporary twist to 80s-infused synth-pop, this song is passionate with a dark edge. Adding a retro bounce to the lively chorus, the sparkling melody got an addictive beat and sunny synths. And with a mesmerizing warmth in her vivacious vocals, this captivating tune is brimming with emotion and rebellion.
