Joyce Wrice – “Break Me In”

Born in San Diego, this singer and songwriter grew up in multi-cultural household thanks to a Japanese mom and an African-American dad. At an early age she’d immersed herself in the music from artists like Mariah Carey and Lauryn Hill. She moved to Los Angeles and studied at Soka University Of America. She started her musical career posting covers online, establishing herself as a rising R&B artist. Inspired by Aaliyah, Brandy and Usher, she debuted with “Stay Around” in 2016.

Lyrically sensual and slightly provocative, her new single tries to capture a deep yearning for a partner’s touch. Blending arousing sexual tension with raw vulnerability, this song is a true R&B gem. With a shimmering synth sparkle and a throbbing beat, the melody show signs of 90s nostalgia. Seductive and sensuous, the mesmerizing R&B tones wrap themselves around you like a warm blanket. And with her flirtatious vocals, this enticing groove is silky, alluring and sexy.
