Originally from Hesse and now based in Hamburg, this German singer and songwriter grew up in a music-loving household, listening to her parents’ vinyl collection. At 15 she started playing the guitar and by 16 had written her first original song. Since then she’s played festivals like Iceland Airwaves and Citadel Music Festival and opened for Simply Red, Arlo Parks and Alanis Morissette. Inspired by Fleetwood Mac, Sade and Kate Bush, she released her debut album “One Youth Ago” in 2013.
Reminding us that the magic and mystery of life is still present under-neath the pressures of the modern world, her new single reaches out to nature to find that lost enchantment. Taken from her upcoming album “Call Me The Witch”, expected on April 10th, this indie-pop song blends organic and electronic elements. With a touch of nostalgia from the shimmering guitars, airy synths and breezy, elegant vocals, this ethereal, yet bouncy tune forges an opulent, infectious soundscape.
