Based in Amsterdam, this bubbly Dutch singer and songwriter grew up escaping into a musical world from a little corner of her room, where she immersed herself in her favourite artists. In an attempt to broaden her horizon, she moved to Leeds, UK and started collaborating with other songwriters and producers. After gigging and being recognized by BBC Introducing, she’s now back in The Netherlands. Inspired by Adele, P!nk and Julia Michaels, she debuted with “Power Cut” in 2021.
Singing about the complicated situation of the rose-tinted glasses you wear when you fall in love with someone you really shouldn’t be falling in love with, her new single tackles the feeling of guilt when you’re the third person in a relationship. Combining the honest and vulnerable lyrics with an effervescent melody, this infectious track is a delicious sonic blend. And with a driving beat, sprightly synths, ear-stroking harmonies and her vivacious vocals, this vibrant tune is truly sparkling.
